SRF Annual Meeting 2018

Professor Reiss lead us in a number of sessions considering issues relevant to the interface between science and religion in the context of education. There was time between sessions to consider the topic at hand and for attendees to network and socialise.

​

The meeting ran from the afternoon of the 30th until lunchtime on the 31st. A formal meeting dinner also took place on the Thursday evening. SRF members attended the SRF Annual General Meeting for 2018 during this meeting.

About the Speaker

​

Michael Reiss is Professor of Science Education at UCL Institute of Education, Visiting Professor at the Universities of Kiel, Leeds and York and the Royal Veterinary College, Honorary Fellow of the British Science Association and of the College of Teachers, Docent at the University of Helsinki, a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and a Priest in the Church of England. His research and consultancy interests are in science education, bioethics and sex education. He is President of the International Society for Science & Religion and of the International Association for Science and Religion in Schools and writes on the interface of science education and theology.
